Don't be fooled by the distance, this is a really tough day. The toughest of our route. There's hill after hill and all of them steep. We tried, but could find no way of making it easier.
The route involves three short ferry trips. These should be fine in the spring / summer, when services run continually through the day, but it's worth checking the earliest and latest times before setting out (it's a long detour otherwise).
The ferries are as follows:
1. King Harry Ferry; across the River Fal.
2. Foey to Bodinnick Ferry; across the River Foey.
3. Torpoint Ferry into Plymouth.
We took a break in Tregony, but it was early for lunch. St Austell is uninspiring but has some national chain cafes. Look out for warships from the Torpoint Ferry.
