A pretty, and fairly straightforward, but not particularly memorable day. Hence the absence of decent pictures.
There are ways of making this day more interesting, but you pay for it in distance and hills. The Cicerone route takes you to Clun, the Sustrans route travels further East. An alternative that I have previously cycled (but travelling the other way) takes you through Ross-on-Wye to Hereford, then on to Bromyard, Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley, Bridgnorth, and Ironbridge before hitting Shrewsbury (which we pass through on day seven).
Ironbridge has plenty of accommodation and so could make a decent day six stop over in place of Craven Arms.
For those travelling faster than us Hereford cathedral is a good visit and Hereford itself an interesting town.
